kismat connection

I was just watching this movie called "Kismat Konnection" and it reminded me of a series of incidents that happened some time back. I am definitely not the lucky kind, so when there is a string of such extra-ordinary events, it is clearly noticeable. Just to relive one of such rare occasions, I took a look at my archived posts. The time was April of 2007 and here is the post I am talking about.

Just yesterday I was talking to a friend, one of the very few who took the entrapreneurship route after the MBA, and we got to chatting about how things had turned out in the past 3 years. He is one of the typical lucky kinds, the kind of people for whom it stops raining when they plan to go out, presentations get cancelled if they had a late night party or get sudden recognition for simple things that other people keep doing all their lives. He had got married recently and as we were discussing the condition of his business, he said "Yes, may be that's why I decided to get some help from lady luck. But it seems she is taking her own time"

So people do think it's possible that someone is lucky to them and try to keep them close. I wonder if you have ever felt so OR tried to do something like that..

If you see the footer of this blog (bottom of this page), you would see that I dont really believe in this but that April of '07 I was ready to openly vouch that "things do happen by chance" But soon enough that lucky streak waned off, my lucky charm was also lost and I was back in the business of trying hard to make a difference in my life..
