The curious incident of the dog in the night

Well finished the book yesterday. Nothing much after that (my last post).
I was trying to place the book into some category. Exceptional.. Yes
Exceptional because the style of narration is different, the point of view is so different that it can be said as the USP.

Reminds me of another book, "The little prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. What made it remarkable inspite of being an abstract book is the unique point of view.

May be that is why this book is worth reading.

Now thinking of some of the interesting things our hero Christopher says...
I liked his idea of calming down. He starts counting squares and cubes of cardinal numbers. He says the motive is to burden his brain so much that it stops noticing disturbing elements around him.

He says.. most of the people dont just see things properly. Whenever he sees something he remembers all the details especially in the form of numbers.

Worth trying..
