All in a days work...

Every profession and roles has a few perks that others cant help but envy... When i joined the consulting I know i would be going places, meeting people and work will never be repititive. Well starting at the bottom of the food chain means lots of work just to survive. But to be happy is your decision. Take a look at some of the snaps from my worklife this friday..


My client is a retail chain and I am doing Process Streamlining and IT Strategy assignment. That means lots of travels to their warhouses, consolidation centers, stores, hypermarkets and malls. These are part of a visit to a hypemarket.

The vegetable section:

The actual work begins... We set up our equipments in improvised meeting room in the stock room. My laptop is connected to the projector and we are ready to blast off..

Conducting sessions with users:

Getting people from the shop floor to get out of the rut and analyze what they do can be a difficult affair..

But after 2 hrs we finally break for the luch... A working lunch consisting of the specialities from the store is brought in. Laptops and projector closed.. focus on the right thing

But this is what makes life exciting. I make most of the break and put myself infront of the bowling machine. Glad to find that I can still connect :)

And then back to workshops. Business as usual...

Day over at 7:00 pm... A few rounds of the mall lightens up the mood. On the way back through bangalore's traffic I fix up the meeting place with friends. 8:30 pm the party starts.. Friday spirits in full glory.

Lot's of work... lots of fun and lots of party.. Thats how it should be.
