Review: The Oath of Vayuputras

One thing off my checklist. I almost expected to see lines of fans infront of Landmark on the morning of 27th. I had decided to go for a hard copy this time instead of a kindle copy (which is going to take some time). I had stopped myself from pre-ordering the book on landmark, I even made an effort not to take up the groupon offer (with 30% off).

Short Verdict: Worth the wait..

(Spoiler Alert)
The best part comes @ page 463 (chapter 45)!!!. I could feel my heart pounding as I joined in the action and interestingly the action figure was not Shiva but Sati!! I felt Amish was at his best in this part of the story..

Worst part.. wish Amish had stayed away from explaining basic science. For example Just a reference to mushroom shaped clouds should have been enough.

What I had always liked about the Shiva Triology was the unexpected twist that the author gave to our age old Hindu mythological characters and this one does not disappointing. Go for it, you wont repent..

  2. Solid state lighting does not have any moving components inside it.
There health benefits outnumber their disadvantages, if any.
