5 second rule

Oh!! you haven't heard of it..
Not to feel bad.. I hadn't either, before yesterday.

One piece of potato jumped off the pan and my friend picked it right off the floor and put it in his mouth. He looked my expression and said "What..It's Ok.. Haven't you hear of the 5 second rule!!"

"Anything that falls on the ground is safe to eat, if picked up within 5 seconds."

I was sure he was trying to make up for his impulsive action but I did check it up today morning and here is the link to the wiki article..

btw.. i got a mail from indiblogger today putting my blog on rank 72. quite strange since i had been contemplating on what a friend had put up in her status message.."Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.."
