Simply plug in..

I am amazed how easy it was to plug into life here. Right out of Heathrow airport, who else but a friendly Sardarji.. Jas Bariah..Just take a look at his number plate :)
He said he does it as a part time on weekends and whenever else he can. This is how he described his job.. "I pick up and drop off you IT people whenever I can..just as a side business." He was accompanied by his daughter. I offered her a bar of chocolate (which I had to buy to get that 40pence required for the first local call) and both were very happy. He not only dropped me off, but gave me his phone to call up home and a SIM card from T-mobile. So within 30mins of walking out of the airport I had a contact number in UK.

Checked into the Apartment and I was connected to the Internet.. A colleague told us the basics of public commutation using buss and of course the Tube. Within an hour we had a bus pass and were walking down to have lunch. However much I wanted to avoid, people around me wanted to have Indian food and we were having lunch at "Punjab Spice"

A walk down home and I was having the first taste of English summer.. After a long long time the shutter-bug in me has re-awakened :)

I love my room here.. Just check this out.. A SUNROOF!!!!

Don't know if that is the right word..but it is just great.. the room is nicely lit and makes my mood a shade lighter. A real plant in my room....
And take a look at this... Is this going to finally inspire me to cook!!!
