Life is a great teacher..
ya ya..We have all heard this enough number of times. But today I got hit by a barrage of life's teachings. I am amazed but I AM SO LUCKY to see this from third angle. :)

One: HMG oh!! if you haven't met her yet, let me introduce her to you... she is a High Maintenance Girlfriend. Most people dont realize the concept till they are right beyond the point of no return

Two: u never know what life is going to make you learn. I met a friend yesterday who has suddenly become a SME (subject matter expert) on menstrual cycles!!!!!!!!
I was amazed untill he told me that he fears protection might have failed the last time he did it with his gf. No wonder his subject matter expertise also covered pregnancy tests!!!

Three: My friend passed out of one of the premier MBA colleges in India but sadly the mire of Indian IT industry placed him at a job which made him forget his career dreams. Wasn't Conflict Resolution, Negotiation, Change Management his fav subjects...Didn't he claim that this is the high adrenaline stuff that he always wished for!!! And all he had been doing for the last few years was drab business analysis ..creating fancy graphs and playing with numbers!!!

But I swear he is not enjoying the conflict management he is doing right now.. Well..to cut the story short, he is trying hard to get bring his love affair to its logical conclusion. It's hell of a job to engineer an intercaste marraige. Add language difference to it and you have deadly mix. I find him stuggling to utilize all his skills (strategic, tactical, phsycological) to get both the parties together.. Its not just an interpersonal conflict (sas/bahu, father's ego tussle) but an intercultural (no other state/language is as good as yours) conflict, a conflict in which you are a central charachter and that makes it one of the most highrisk/highgain gambles you are ever going to play in your life.. Hats off dude.. keep at it..
