Finding Things

It's been a pleasure living around with messy people, though I have always been considered an outcast by these friends of mine :)

I think I shared the definition of Perfect mess some days back (Your mess is perfect when it reaches the point at which, if you spent any more or any less time organizing, you would become inefficient.) But today funda is something that will help you find things.

People tend to keep things which can be called centers of gravity.. Things are not just put there but seem to gravitate to that place. These are places where you look first when you are searching for something. These are places where you expect to find them. - jan chipchase , cheif designer for nokia, scientist of human behaviour

In my flat, things seem to automatically gravitate to the top of the refrigerator in the living room, thanks to my flatmate (one of the messiest people I know). And another fav spot is the 3rd shelf of the showcase in the drawing room. You can find (actually can't find when u need them) all sorts of things, from keys to credit card bills, parking tickets, pens, matchbox, nail clippers, CDs (which obviously gets too many scratches to be ever used again), Advertisement leaflets, visiting cards, sun glasses, ID cards, wallet .....

I am sure you can find super magnetic messy spots in your house also. Just look around
