I happened to be watching a movie called “The Bucket List”. Morgan Freeman says it was out of an assignment given by his professor on Forward thinking….Make a list of things you want to do in your lives before you “kick the bucket”.
Ever thought of creating one? Well there is a bucket list all of us maintain. Maybe not really covering so long a period but yes certainly a list of things we think of doing. May be it is just a list of things that you need to get done, some that you know you need to do but just don’t want to, some that you don’t think you will do but still wish you could do.
If you are ultra organized then there could be a formal list. May be just a textpad file named 2du like I have on my desktop or may be in your outlook. Or may be just in you minds. It is so nice when it is in your mind. It stays on for a while and as you keep dropping more of these into that bucket, the older one kind of dissolves. Putting it simply, you forget and then suddenly someone/something reminds you. Then it again jumps to the top.
But whenever you have a list, it gives so much pleasure to cross things off. The kind of bucket list the film suggests does suggest, is certainly nice to have. But I would say… never make a list of things to do, if you don’t believe there is a fair chance to really do it.
