Method of interviews....
Someone was explaining a method called " Critical Incident Method" The interviewer asks you for one single incident that you think has changed your life. Then he asks "why, when, how at each step" The response is noted..
My question is
1- Do you think a person would really come out with a life changing incident infront of the panel?
2- Does everyone have a life changing incident to tell?
May be you will just make something up..
It was soon agreed that it can never be fully agreed that any method really tells you how a person is.. within 15/30 mins.
Another friend joined in with a method the interviewee(i m not sure of the spelling) comes up with.
"Its Leading the interviewer" - At least we try to do so.. So what remains of the effectiveness of the critical incident method...
